Blake Griffin, known for being one of the greatest dunkers the game has ever seen, is back! And he's learned to dunk in a whole new way.
The former NBA All-Star has teamed up with Red Lobster to headline their 2025 Lobsterfest promotion, dubbed "The Greatest Lobsterfest of All Time" (GLOAT). This is not an ad for Red Lobster or even an endorsement of seafood in general. We just love Blake Griffin. How could you not love him? Griffin was one of the most entertaining players of his era. Lob City at the peak of its run was pure electricity! It's a shame that Clippers group never ended up with a title. On the court, Griffin dominated above the rim, and off the court he was one of the most genuinely funny sports personalities out there. There is such as thing as being "athlete funny" and being actually funny. Peyton Manning is athlete funny, and that's not a knock on Peyton, but Blake Griffin is legitimately hilarious. Remember his work on the Comedy Central Roast of Alec Baldwin? That was an all time roast performance. Blake Griffin rocks and we are pretty sure he fucks. We know he dated a Kardashian, and while we may not care enough to look up which one he dated, we still thinks it's pretty damn cool. Anyway, let's talk lobster!
Griffin's involvement with Red Lobster goes beyond a simple endorsement. He's the face of the campaign, appearing in commercials where he playfully dunks lobster into butter. Reminiscent of the fun and exciting dunks of his playing days.
The commercial is great but the excitement doesn't end there! You want a signature meal? You got it, baby! "Blake Griffin's Way," a special Lobsterfest meal curated by the legend himself.
"Blake Griffin's Way": A Seafood Slam Dunk
The featured meal includes:
● Rock Lobster Tail
● NEW Garlic Butter-Poached Maine Lobster
●NEW Lobster Mac & Cheese
The Lobsterfest promotion, running from February 11th to April 20th, 2025, also features a "create-your-own" option, giving seafood enthusiasts the chance to customize their lobster feast. But it's Griffin's signature meal that's generating the most buzz.
Again, this isn't an ad. I don't even like Red Lobster. But I will go try it Blake Griffin's Way.
